Jack Daniels Versus Crown Royal

I did it ...

after 2 years of consideration (to Anja wink), I have done 2 weeks ago and finally whitewashed my breakfast.

I am not the type to do general painting everything, but this buffet is a bit of what I know me have always imagined it more beautiful, but I always lacked the time and inclination.

Now I'm glad I finally made it and looking forward like crazy and I have therefore today made a few pictures of it.

Unfortunately it is out there with us again all white and so cold and snowy, terrible!

The old book what you see in the pictures, is from 1918 and it is from the great grandmother of my husband.

It's called "In support of the housewife", and although now everything is out of date, I love to scroll through.

And although I have seen it quite often to me recently of the yellowed, folded

note struck in the middle of the book.

Then someone (I do not know if it was great grandma Emma herself),

written a recipe for potato cakes.

unfortunately I can not decipher right, but I now heed this note as a treasure;)

the lemon muffins are baked from time to time constraints only alla cake mix and now I have already returned to the kitchen!
